Project Description:
Jeffrey Berman Architect, Cosentini, Tetra Tech, the Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA design and build a 250-bed COVID-19 Non-Acute Surge Facility for East Orange General Hospital in New Jersey. We adapted the Corp’s standard design concept to an existing rehab facility, modifying and reprogramming it to accommodate 250 beds while repairing, adapting and utilizing existing building systems.
Our team delivered the finished surge facility in 14 days.
