Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Interventional Animal Imaging
Location: New York, NY
Size: 730 square feet
Project Type: Renovation & Modernization
JBA designed this large animal interventional imaging facility as a translational experimental facility and precursor to the Center for Image Guided Intervention for human patients that opened in June, 2010. JBA reviewed the equipment and provided test fit studies for a combined Angio/CT and separate Angiography and CT Rooms. Working closely with the physicians at the MSKCC, JBA coordinated the equipment installation with a program for adjacent Animal Operating Rooms and with provisions for later development of computerized patient information routing in the area. JBA assisted with budget preparation, phasing and temporary relocations to keep the existing faciity in operation.
