NEW YORK-PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL

Image Guided Interventional Suite

Location: New York, NY
Size: 855 square feet
Project: Equipment Upgrade, Renovation

Our process focused design for this GE Discovery-based image guided therapy suite addresses critical design issues and provides a clean, efficient and easily maintained environment that meets New York-Presbyterian Hospital facility standards. Design issues include sterile fields and circulation, information management and presentation to support large medical teams, radiation protection, sightlines and communication among team members and integration with building infrastructure.

As the scope of image guided therapy expands to replace or enhance invasive therapies like surgery, the rooms become larger and the infrastructure and support more complex and critical to outcomes, efficient care and patient safety.
