The Ornithology Department at The American Museum of Natural History houses one of the world’s largest collections of bird specimens in a 75,000 square-foot, Landmark building.
Jeffrey Berman Architect has provided architectural services for several projects within the Ornithology Department, spanning all floors of its building.
Work has included a 50,000 square-foot planning study; the renovation of Audubon Hall, including exhibition space and collection storage; the design of a new molecular systematics research laboratory and supporting computer and equipment rooms; as well as renovations to departmental offices and collections storage.
